Made each post on the index page a square since many of my posts don’t utilize the default box size. I updated the site’s description and also added a page number in the title bar of the browser with “total pages” on index pages and a caption on permalink pages. As for the navigation, I added a “first” button and “last” button that allow you to jump to the beginning and end.
I added “Jump Page” to the blog. This should allow some skipping around instead of just “Previous” or “Next.” Going through page after page can be a pain so you can skip a few if you like… or not. The scenic route is often better, but now you have options.
There is a preview of She is the Man at the bottom. On page refreshes, it updates to show the latest images from my blog. No change = no new posts.
I’ve begun placing ads on the blog. If I can find some transsexual ads, I’ll place them. I figure making these hot GIFs can help pay for a beer or two.
I’ve added the “search” bar in the header - doesn’t always work to how I’d like (it’s Tumblr’s search code), but better than nothing.
I’ve added Disqus to the blog. Meaning you can ask a question, comment directly about a GIF, inform me and others about the star’s name and/or what video it’s from on the page the GIF is on. You do have to login using an email (can be fake if you like) and a name, or you can use Twitter, Facebook, and a few others to login with.
I don’t always know the star’s name. If you happen to know the name shoot me a message at the ask page with a link to the GIF or use Disqus. Messages to my ask page can be anonymous if you choose. I won’t post a comment about a name on this blog- I’ll just add the name to the post(s) where applicable.
Hello followers and potential followers,
First off, I need to explain a few things. I’m not out to offend anyone and I’m not implying a gay person and a transgendered person are the same thing. There is gay porn and transgendered porn on Grand Trans GIFs. I enjoy more feminine persons so that’s what I watch/create most often.
I made these gifs not just b/c I know how to, but b/c of a “supply issue.” I readily found Tumblr blogs that have spicy lesbian, straight, bi, or gay gifs, but few with persons undergoing a gender transformation (or persons crossing traditional gender lines). Hopefully, my contribution is as respectful as possible while able to pick out hot scenes. If not, then maybe that will inspire others to do it better.
I tag items to be as politically correct as possible. “Trans” is as far as I go on this blog on labeling a transsexual male or female. Unfortunately, the public generally doesn’t search for politically correct terms. I’m sacrificing easily search-able (& I’ve realized quite offensive) terms for as close to PC or non-offensive terms as possible. So re-blogs help spread the love- but obviously only if you enjoy the GIF and/or the site.
If you have a problem with the site or have a suggestion, let me know. Be civil & I will be the same. It’s great to hear what you’re thinking- good or bad. I’ll ultimately post most questions/comments unless the submitter requests I don’t.
Thanks for your attention
Sincerely,
GTG

Constructive Criticism or Hate Mail?
I appreciate the honesty and candor and I’ll take it into consideration- creatively done, too. Since this is the first criticism I’ve seen (I’m sure there’s plenty of it out there), I feel I am a bit defensive but I understand their point of view. I don’t want to attack anyone b/c this is supposed to be about sexual freedom and enjoyment. Here’s my side of it, from defensive to open to suggestions:
First of all, This is a gay and transsexual porn blog- meaning no straight or lesbian couples/groups/orgies here- I have other blogs for that. I would never call a person in real life (IRL) a shemale, tranny, tgirl, ladyboy, etc. - and I don’t mean IRL vs. the internet- I mean to a normal person vs. a porn star. Porn is disrespectful to EVERYONE involved: male, female, transgender people. You may say I have little respect for people who take their clothes off or have sex for money- and by extension myself for watching it. Yes, I’m an asshole but I’m not sorry if my porn blog wasn’t sensitive enough for my followers. Search Tumblr for politically correct terms and no porn shows up. Google “transsexual porn” and little to nothing other than “shemale,” “tranny,” “ladyboy,” or “t-girl” are the results.
Making an assumption on my gender or my sexual orientation on your blog is… I don’t know, foolish, considering the subject matter. I will admit I am a straight/bi-curious college-educated male. I have some gay male friends, but this whole world is a still little taboo for me. A world I found curiously arousing so I made a blog for it.
I’ve never been happy with this URL, but GTG seemed “catchy” and since the blog has picked up popularity I didn’t want to change it. But because I thought the title was clear what the blog was about doesn’t mean that some people may think I meant trans-gender people are gay- that’s not the intention. But due to “tranny” in the URL- something I’ve since learned is a slur, I don’t watermark my URL on my GIFs - yet. I won’t hide behind my ignorance, but I won’t make URL changes on a whim. Productive suggestions on a new URL? Should I change all my tags from “shemale” to “trans” or is “t-girl” an acceptable tag? Am I a complete asshole or just an ignorant asshole? Tell me constructively what you think should be changed about this blog and I’ll take it into consideration.
Thanks to those who didn’t TL:DR
